Obituary of Charlotte Ann Wells

Age 84, of Mt. Morris, went to be with God, her father, on Sunday, August 2, 2020, at McLaren-Flint. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Thursday, August 6, 2020, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris with cremation to follow. A private burial will take place at Flint Memorial Park at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Charlotte's Tribute page at martinfuneralhome.com.
Charlotte was born April 13, 1936, in Flint, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter J. and June E. (Clark) Haley. A lifetime resident of Flint and Mt. Morris, Charlotte attended and graduated from Beecher High School with the Class of 1954. She went on to attain her Associate's Degree from Mott Community College in 2000. Charlotte met and married Richard Wells on January 29, 1988. Together their union was blessed with five children. She worked as a receptionist for Dr. Stephen Evanoff for ten and a half years until her retirement. Charlotte was a long-time member of the Enrichment Center of Flint. In her free time, Charlotte enjoyed reading; above all, Charlotte loved God and her wonderful family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Richard; five children: Gregory and wife, Debra Estes, Brian and wife, Cathy Estes, Jeffery and wife, Collette Estes, Neil and wife, Barbara Estes, Melanie Burr; two stepchildren: Jeffery and wife, Katie Wells; Sandra and husband, Jeff Argue; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; brother: John and wife, Linda Haley; three sisters: Mary Drown, Judy Conway and Rita Berry.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Celeste and brother, Peter.
