Obituary of Ethel May Mullen

Age 91, of Traverse City, died Sunday, July 19, 2020, at Grand Traverse Pavillion with her family by her side. A graveside service will take place at 11:00 am, Monday, July 27, 2020, at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on Ethel’s tribute page at martinfuneralhome.com.

 

Ethel was born September 11, 1928, in Flint, she is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George and Charlotte (Annabal) Bailer. Ethel met and married the love of her life Paul Mullen. Sadly, he preceded her in death on June 28, 1994. Working in production, Ethel was employed at Ternstedt for many years.  Ethel was a member of the Central Assembly Pentecostal Church of God. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, loving on her dogs, and spending time with her family and friends. 

 
  

Left to cherish Ethel’s memory are her nephews and nieces: Thomas and wife, Sharon Nestell, Robert and wife, Angela Barnes, Judith Reid, Karen and husband, Dan Joseph, Shelley and husband, Leo Holczer, Charlotte and husband, Harvey Corbitt, brother-in-law: Edwin Barnes; and many other family members and friends.                                         

 

Ethel was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul; two brothers: James and Floyd; sister, Georgena Barnes.
