Jack, you were one of the most genuine and kind-hearted persons I know, always thinking of and remembering others before yourself. Each morning, without fail, you faithfully arose, raising multiple flags to honor and remember all of your American brothers who had been taken as prisoners of war, were missing in action, and had fallen, giving their all. Towards your family and friends, you were constant and supportive. If someone needed your help or even the shirt off your back, they had it without question. In life, you were the shining light and love of my Mom's life for over 33 years, and with your passing, that flame of shining light and once-in-a-lifetime love will never be extinguished. You were always so supportive of me and always there whenever I needed your help or listening ear. You were a true Dad. To all of us who love you, you were a wonderful and loving husband, father, friend, and human being. You were a beautiful, one-of-a-kind angel here on Earth, and now you will join the flock of beautiful angels in Heaven. You are loved and will be missed, but you will never be forgotten by the many whose lives you personally touched and changed for the better.
