Obituary of Danny Ray Daniels

Of Swartz Creek, age 62, died Sunday, January 3, 2010 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 1:00pm, Thursday, January 7, 2010 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor Bob Soulliere will officiate with burial to follow in Thetford Township Cemetery. DannyAaas family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm, Wednesday from 9:00am until 7:00pm, and on Thursday from 9:00am until time of service at 1:00pm. Danny was born July 16, 1947 in Bell County, Kentucky the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arlus and Mildred (Wright) Daniels. Danny worked for Buick for a little over 30 years before retiring in 2000. He was a member of UAW Local #599. Danny enjoyed spending time with his family and dog Rebecca, gardening, karaoke, and driving his Mustang. Danny leaves to cherish his memory son Todd Daniels, three daughters; Laurie Shilling, Cindy Daniels and Cristie Wright; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; father Arlus Daniel; sister; Brenda Mills; four brothers; Arlus Daniel Jr., Terry Daniel, Donny Daniel, Teddy Daniels; many nieces and nephews. Danny was preceded in death by his mother Mildred.
