Obituary of Jo Ann Hyde

Age 84 of Keego Harbor, died on Thursday, May 14, 2020, at Bentley Manor in Clio. A private burial will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2020, at Christian Memorial Gardens in Rochester Hills. Jo Ann was born July 22, 1935, in Carrier Mills, Illinois, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Freeman and Eveline (Carrier) Hudgins. As a young girl, Jo Ann’s family moved to Pontiac, where she was educated locally, graduating high school in 1953. While working at Majestic Diner, Jo Ann would meet the love of her life, Cecil Hyde. The two dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage in September of 1960. Cecil preceded her in death in 2015. Jo Ann enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and traveling.
Jo Ann leaves to cherish her memory her children: Robert Hyde and William and wife, Shannon Hayes; grandchildren: Tiffany, William Jr., David, and Amy; and brother, Freeman Hudgins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Cecil.
