Obituary of Norman Bradley Jacob

Age 76, of Clio, died Thursday, May 7, 2020, at Ascension Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc. A private funeral service will be held at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services on Friday, May 15, 2020. Burial to follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Pastor Rick Marcus to officiate.
Norman was born on September 25, 1943, in Flint, to Mr. and Mrs. Everett and Phyllis (Heidebreicht) Jacob. Educated locally, Norman graduated from Mt. Morris High School with the Class of 1962. Heeding the call to serve his country, Norman would enlist in the United States Air Force. After serving valiantly for four years, Norman came home and started working as a car salesman. While at home, he met Margaret Brookman, and after a short time dating, they were engaged and united in married on July 11, 1970, at New Lothrop Nazarene Church.
In his free time, Norman loved to take care of his lawn, loved classic cars, taking his family out, and spending time with his family.
Norman is survived by his wife: Margaret; sons: Bradley Jacob and wife, Beth Granger, and Bryan Jacob; grandchildren: Bethany Jacob, Ivy Chacon, Miles Jacob, and Cash Jacob; and siblings: Donald Jacob, Steve Jacob, and Marilynn White.
Norman is preceded in death by his parents; brother: James Jacob; sister: Janice Hawley; and grandchild: Tristian Jacob.
