Obituary of Laura LaRay Watson

Age 74, of Mt. Morris, died on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at Kith Haven Nursing Home in Flint. In accordance with Laura’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private burial will be held at a later date. Please visit Laura’s tribute page at martinfuneralhome.com.
Laura was born on November 23, 1945, in North Branch, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fredrick and Violet (Gault) Schroder. Raised in Mt. Morris, Laura was educated locally through the Mt. Morris and Flint school districts. As part of her schooling, Laura worked for the City of Flint. Laura was devoted to the Lord. In her free time, Laura enjoyed knitting and crocheting afghans, playing bingo, and listening to music.
Laura leaves to cherish her memory, sister, Inez, and husband, Robert West; two brothers: John and wife, Anna Schroder and Lloyd and wife, Peggy Schroder; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Robert Watson.
