Obituary of Vernon Andrew Crock

Age 81, of Burton, died at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Flint on Tuesday, March 24, 2020. In accordance with Vernon’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Of the Immaculate Conception, in Fulda, Ohio, with burial to follow in the summer of 2020. Vernon was born on July 8, 1938, in Caldwell, Ohio, the son of Linus and Clara (Noll) Crock. Growing up in Ohio, Vernon was educated locally. After graduation, he went into the construction industry, becoming a mason man. He would meet the love of his life, Mary Ann Smith. The two dated, fell in love and were united in marriage on November 1, 2019, and the couple moved to Michigan. When not busy working, Vernon enjoyed playing cards, especially euchre, fishing, watching his favorite baseball team, the Cleveland Indians, and watching NASCAR.
Vernon leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Mary Ann; four sisters; one brother; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jeff and his two brothers.
