Obituary of Jackie Lynn Pepitone
Age 66, of Mt. Morris, died on February 6, 2020, at Addington Place in Grand Blanc, with her family by her side. In accordance with Jackie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, February 15, 2020, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Rev. John Montney to officiate. The family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends on Saturday, from 11:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 noon.
Jackie was born in Flint, on August 29, 1953, to Mr. and Mrs. Peter and Verna (Roth) Pepitone, raised in Mt. Morris and educated locally, she graduated from Elisabeth Ann Johnson High School-Mt. Morris, with the class of 1971. After graduating high school, Jackie went to work for Pumpernick’s Bagels for 20 years. Jackie then moved on to make a lot of friends working in the photography department at Sam’s Club for over 16 years. In her free time, Jackie loved going to the casino, driving along the coast of the Great Lakes, and shopping early for Christmas gifts.
Jackie became best friends (sisters) nearly 50 years ago, with Dianne Helgeson Cook and Cindy Helgeson Bell. At that time, she became a part of their family as well, where she held the titles of sister, aunt “Jacks," great-aunt and grandma EE.
She is survived by her brother: Jeff Pepitone, and Christi Turner; two nieces and a nephew: Amira Pepitone, Arianna Pepitone, and Owen Bailey.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
