My prayers are for Agnes' family for this great loss. In the 1960's I grew up being a neighbor and babysitter for the family . Over the years I would run into Agnes and it would be the best part of my day. Talking last night my sister Deb, we both agreed that our memories of Agnes will always be what a kind and loving lady she was. We both feel it was a blessing to know her. \

Aggie was probably one of the best "second moms" that a kid could have. Not only did she put up with her own wild bunch, she always welcomed the Garlick clan with open arms and a big smile. From letting us bake cakes to playing in the old Hudson, she was just plain fun to be around. And a great example of the kind of mom I wanted to be. My deepest sympathies to all of you.

My deepest sympathy to all of Aggies family. I met Aggie at a painting class we took together a few years ago...she was a delight to talk with and I am so glad I had the chance to know her. She was a lovely woman.\

Our heartfelt sympathy to Bernie, and all the Biery kids and their families. My memories go back to the 1970's when I was first teaching and living in Vassar. I remember first meeting Aggie and Bernie at Mike and Pat's place, when they were all celebrating Aggie and Bernie's marriage. What fun people!!! The stories, jokes and just fun times, at the home on Byron Drive, are priceless. The 'open door' policy of Bernie and Aggie was famous....GREAT food and fun at any time of the day or night was sooooo appreciated by the neighbors, friends and family. We were always made to feel welcome! They loved to share their garden bounty and pool with everyone. Getting to know the 'Canadian crew' was great fun as well. I do recall a night trip across the border with a car filled with 'stuff' for a young married couple...I was scared to death. The Canadian 'camp' was so rustic and fun and all the family always seemed excited to visit the Canadian relatives. It was great fun to go into the Building Center and get my hug from Bernie...miss that! Even though we haven't been as close the past few years, the memories remain, and Aggie will be fondly remembered. May God's loving grace, and the knowledge that you will see your beloved Aggie, Mom, Grandma, Sister and Aunt again one day, help you through this time of sorrow.\
Love to all-\
