Lynette, Anna, Carol, Allen, Lola, Diane, Sheila and Grandchildren. Terrie, I and my family send our deepest condolences to all of you. Joel was a fun and funny guy. I remember back in the day working out in Mr. Carsten's garage with Joel and Allen. Allen always called me burr head. Anna, I'm not sure if your daddy ever told you that in the school year of 1973/1974 he introduced me to Terrie and for that I have and will always be greatful. I hadn't talked a lot with Joel in a few years but always considered him my friend. May all your heart's heal and just know that Joel is at a campfire. I am sure of that. I am praying for you all. My deepest sympathy to the Carsten family. I graduated with Joel from Kearsley in 1975. I didn't know him well, but what I did know he was a great guy. I remember him being on the quite side. May he rest in peace and in a better place. Kim (Sperling) Cicalo

Camping became my daughters happy place. I’ll forever be grateful that Joel and Lynette instilled that in her. Joel and my son had a connection that I am very sad to know won’t grow. They both loves that big truck!!
