Obituary of Mora Mae Aymer
Age 85, of Vassar, died unexpectedly, on Thursday, December 19, 2019, at Covenant Health Care-Cooper in Saginaw. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, December 28, 2019, at 11:00 am at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Vassar. Pastor Greg Shepherd will officiate, with burial to follow in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Mora’s family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Saturday, from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
Mora was born September 4, 1934, as a twin daughter to Arlie and Verna (Bailey) Lusk, in Cyclone, West Virginia. Raised in West Virginia, she would meet and marry the love of her life, Bernard “Bud” Aymer. Together, they moved their family to Michigan, returning to Bernard’s hometown of Millington.
Mora was a busy homemaker, raising her family, and keeping a spotless house. Mora was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, always putting her family above herself! In her free time, Mora enjoyed doing word searches, crossword puzzles, watching her soap operas, but most importantly, spending time with her family.
Mora leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 58 years, Bernard; children: Kevin and wife, Tina Aymer, Greg and wife, Jodi Aymer, Jeannine, and husband, David Carll; daughter-in-law Ceil Lusk; grandchildren: Bradley, Elizabeth, Beccy, Melisa, Ronny, Balee, Carla, Ryan, and Casey; and several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 5 brothers; 2 sisters; son, Eddie Lusk; and daughter, Deborah Aymer.
