Obituary of William "Bill" Ellsworth Bales
Age 85, died on December 4, 2019, at Ascension Genesys Hospital, with his family by his side. In accordance with William’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
Bill was born in Royal Oak on April 23, 1934, to William and Christine (Hirt) Bales. In 1954, Bill would marry the love of his life, Roberta Ann Fredrickson on November 24. Heeding the call to serve his county, Bill proudly served in the military testing missiles. He loved fishing and being with his family. Bill was a quality craftsman, who loved to design and renovate dream homes for people.
Bill is survived by his daughter: Cheryl and husband, Roy (Tom) Gramer, two grandsons: Jordan Bales, and Tim and his wife, Jessica Cissney, great-granddaughter, Emma Bales, and daughter-in-law, Ellen.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, his three sons Gary, Brian, and infant son Kyle, and daughter-in-law Rexanne.
