Harold was a very wonderful classmate and friend to all of us at Mt. Morris High School class of 1962. He and I also attended Mt. Morris Johnson Elementary school and watched each other grow up. I can honestly say Harold was one of the kindest and most thoughtful men I have ever known. He was the perfect example of what a "TRUE BOYSCOUT" should be. He was also a big help in putting together our 2012 "50th" class reunion. Please accept our sympathy and sorrow in losing a WONDERFUL friend and classmate. He will be greatly missed and our hearts go out to his family. We know we will see him again one day in heaven....May God comfort you all... A Classmate: Carol (Wise) Mercer

Gary & Shawn, Dan & Lauren and families. Our hearts are with you at this very sad time. I hardly know where to start as Keith & Harold were friends before we even got married, he was our life long friend. He was a wonderful person with a heart of gold and dedicated his life to helping others, especially children. Many boys over the years were blessed with his guidance in the scouting program. He had this very infectious laugh that was hard to resist. I loved to "poke" his funny bone just to hear him laugh. He and your Mom are together again in a much better place and we will all join them at a later date. Keith & Wava Valliere
