Obituary of Patricia Ann Atkinson
Age 81, died September 27, 2019, at her home, with her family by her side. In accordance with Pat’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
Pat was born in Flint, on March 14, 1938, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Royal and Hilda (Brown) Catrell. On July 16, 1963, Pat married the love of her life, Jackie. They were happily married for 57 years.
Pat worked for the Bentley School District where she drove a school bus until her retirement in 1998. In her free time, Pat enjoyed spending time with her family at her cabin, and fishing on the Au Sable River. She had a love of game shows, especially Wheel of Fortune, she enjoyed reading, crocheting, going to the casino and grilling. Pat had a strong faith in God and an incredible bond with her amazing husband. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Left to cherish Pat's memory, are her husband, Jackie; 2 sons, Joseph and Shane; grandchildren, Cherri, Jennifer, and Ashley; great-grandchildren; Nichole, Joey, Cody, Chris, Carmyn, Tori and Emi, and many other family and friends.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Vickie, brothers, Don, Lee, and Dennis, sisters, Irene, Eleanor, and Lucille.
