Obituary of Angelina Marie Hawkshaw
Age 78, of Mt. Morris Township, died at Kith Haven Nursing Home on Saturday, September 21, 2019. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Angelina’s Life will take place in St. Louis, Missouri, and Flint, Michigan, dates will be announced at a later time.
Angelina was born February 1, 1941, in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Giuseppi and Athena (Palazzolo) Orlando. On October 1, 1968, she married John Hawkshaw in St. Louis, Missouri. Together, they built their home in Flint. She was an avid homemaker, and a wonderful cook, who liked spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Angelina enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo, watching game shows and Walker Texas Ranger, and crocheting.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, John; two sons: John and wife, Anita Hawkshaw, and Joseph and wife, Kimberly Hawkshaw; grandchildren: Andrew and wife, Kristian Hawkshaw, Dominic Hawkshaw and Adam Hawkshaw; three great-grandchildren: Bella, Bailey and Athena Hawkshaw; brothers: Jim, John and Pete Orlando; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and several brothers and sisters.
