Obituary of Nita Anne Belcher
Age 63, of Mt. Morris, died Wednesday, August 28, 2019, at her home. Care was entrusted to Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris and cremation has taken place. A private burial will take place in her beloved Mountains of Virginia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nita's Name to St. Jude's' or the American Lung Association.
Nita was born October 2, 1955, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin E. Sr. and ErmaLee (Lundy) Belcher. Raised in Flint, she graduated from Flint Northern High School in 1973. She would go to work at Buick City for many years, before retiring. Nita was a member of the UAW # 599 and many veteran’s organizations. Nita enjoyed spoiling her nieces and nephews, shopping, gardening, reading, eating out, and spending time with her family.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother, ErmaLee Belcher; brothers and sister: Jim and wife, Sandra Dorton, Debra Nitz, and Marvin Belcher Jr.; many nieces and nephews; and lifelong friend, Margie Peters.
Nita was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Sr., sister, Marcia Lee Anderson; and brother Merlin David Belcher.
