Obituary of Traci Dawn (Higgins) Nawatha
Age 46, of Mt. Morris, died Friday, July 19, 2019, at Hurley Medical Center as a result of a car accident. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held July 25, 2019, at 5:00 pm at the Club House of White Oak Estates 7170 White Oaks Blvd Mt. Morris, Michigan 48458. Memorial Donation may be directed to the family.
Traci was born in Flint, Michigan, on September 7, 1972, the daughter of George and Brenda Higgins. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing bingo, cooking, baking, and spoiling her grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons: Aaron and wife, Yvette Higgins, Elijah Thomas, Jr. and Victoria Lockhart; grandchildren: Amira, Aryia, and Amari; mother, Brenda Middleditch; brothers: Brian and wife, Kim Higgins, James Higgins; and Richard “Ricky” and wife, Jackie Middleditch; sister, Tamera Higgins; uncle, Jim and wife, Nancy Reaves; mother-in-law; Frances Thomas; brothers-in-law: Ernest and wife Lakeisha Thomas and Alfred "Wolf" and wife, Lena Thomas; father-in-law, Johnny Paylor; and several special nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father; George Higgins; stepfather, John Middleditch; love of her life; Elijah “Frog” Thomas, Sr.; sister, Nikita Faye Higgins; and niece; Kayla McGregor.
