Obituary of Eva Betsy Stroh
Age 89 years, of Mt. Morris, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2019. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, July 25, 2019, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Pastor Doug Armstrong officiating, with burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Eva's family will gather at the funeral home to receive guests on Wednesday, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm; on Thursday morning, from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am. Those desiring may consider memorial contributions to the COPD Foundation. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
Eva was born on Friday, June 27, 1930, in Doniphan, Missouri, she is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Homer and Retha (Jones) Price. She worked for Rockwell ACE Hardware in Mt. Morris, for several years, until retiring. In her free time, Eva enjoyed spending time with family and friends especially her grandchildren, crocheting, word search puzzles, going to the casino and collecting precious moments. She also enjoyed cooking and baking.
Left to cherish her memory are three children: Michael and wife, Marge Wood, Sharon and husband, John Lovelady, and Teresa and husband, Michael Hartman; 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; special friends: Harriett Mcintee, Rick Tebo, Steve Kennedy.
Eva was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters; and her husband, Robert Spencer.
Eva's family would like to thank the entire staff at Maple Woods Manor for their wonderful, caring, and compassionate care they gave.
