Obituary of Victor Dewayne Hale
Age 66, of Flint, died peacefully on July 18, 2019, at Hospice House of Shiawassee County. Funeral Service will take place 1:30 pm, on Monday, July 22, 2019, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Service in Mt. Morris, with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, from 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm and again on Monday, from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:30 pm. Memorial donations may be directed to Hospice House of Shiawassee County. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
Vic was born May 19, 1953, in Flint, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roger and Marcy (Brown) Hale. Educated locally he graduated in 1971 from Beecher High School. He went on to work at Buick for 30 years, retiring in 2006. He enjoyed traveling, listening to rock music, riding his mountain bike, spending time at the beach in Florida, and he was an avid Detroit Tigers and Lions fan.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Marcy Knoblauch; brother, Brian, and wife, Deb Hale; nephew; B.J. Hale; niece, Angel Hale; other family members and friends.
Vic was preceded in death by his father; Roger Hale; and stepfather; Robert Knoblauch.
