In high school, Connie was a cheerleader, played basketball, and ran track and field. Of all the sports, the long jump was her favorite. Her nickname was “Tucson” because she was always telling her parents, she was going to run away to Tucson, Arizona. She loved children and animals. Her children’s friends always called her “mom”, and she loved them like her own. She enjoyed riding snowmobiles, and motorcycles with her husband and siblings.
