Obituary of Lorraine Carolee Robinson

Age 91, of Mt. Morris, passed away, Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at Cranberry Park Transition in Clio. A funeral celebrating Lorraine’s life will take place 10:00 am Saturday, April 20, 2019, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Pastor Erik Cloeter will officiate with burial following in Sunset Hills Cemetery in East Jordan, Michigan. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, April 19, 2019, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and again on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of service at 10:00 am. Memorial contributions can be made to Messiah Lutheran Church Samaritan Fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.  

Lorraine was born on June 1, 1927, in Royal Oak the daughter of Mr.& Mrs. Ralph and Sophia (Olson) Walker. She was united in marriage to Ward Robinson on February 20, 1949, in Mt. Morris. Sadly, he preceded her in death on March 28, 2000. Lorraine was a homemaker raising three children. She was a family woman who enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoyed bowling, golfing, reading the bible and tending to her cats, Callie and Tweeter. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Clio.

Left to cherish her memory are her three children: Ron and wife, Gail Robinson, Candy and husband, Mike Clark, Kim and husband, Bob Eluskie; seven grandchildren: Mindy and husband, Mike Bicknell, Ryan and wife, Jennifer Robinson, Tom and wife, Tara Baryo, Greg Baryo, Kyle Clark, Jordan Eluskie, and Kami Eluskie; nine great-grandchildren: Braedyn, Makenna, Landen, Alivia, Brooklynn, Karlie, Sydney, Alex, and Hailey; and one sister: Pat Ulvund.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ward, parents, Ralph and Sophia Walker, and brothers and sisters, Raymond Walker, Shirley Murray, Sharon Walker, and Robert Walker.
