Obituary of Mont "Monte" Moore

Age 79, of Davison, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at Crestmont Nursing Care Center in Fenton.  A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, March 9, 2019, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. In accordance with Monte's wishes, cremation has taken place. Monte's family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 1:00 pm. A private burial will be held at Thetford Township Cemetery at a later date. Those desiring may consider memorial contributions to the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. 

Monte was born in Toledo, Ohio, on February 7, 1940, he is the son of the Mr. and Mrs. Monte and Inez Moore. He was married to Bonnie Fink until her passing in 1999. He was the owner and operator of Bon-Mor Service in Flint for over 10 years. In his free time, Monte enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved listening to music and dancing, fixing things, traveling to the U.P. to the Manistee River, and having a beer with his friends. He also enjoyed going to the Davison Free Methodist Church on Sunday with his daughter. 

Left to cherish his memory: daughters Monika and husband, Randy Switzer, Kellie and husband, Steven Kehus, and Virginia Moore; step-daughters: Dee Wheeler, and Renee Wheeler-Arnott; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; special friends: Amy and Rich Comer; and many other family members and friends. special friends: Amy and Rich Comer.                                    

Mont "Monte" was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Bonnie Moore; daughter, Michelle Wheeler; sisters: Nancy Goodman, and Ilene Schaffer, and his step-brother, Ward.
