Obituary of Thomas Ray Davis
Age 67, of Mt. Morris, died Friday, February 15, 2019, at McLaren Hospital-Flint, surrounded by his family. A funeral celebrating Thomas’ life will take place 1:00 pm, Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Pastor Kevin Dixson will officiate, with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and again on Tuesday, from 12:00 pm until the time of service at 1:00 pm. On Monday, at 7:00 pm, the Lions Club will hold a service at the funeral home, conducted by the Otisville Lions Club #4777. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leader Dog for the Blind. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
Thomas was born on July 4, 1951, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. & Mrs. James and Martha (Kern) Davis. He graduated from Elisabeth Ann Johnson High School. Thomas and Ann Little were united in marriage on October 1, 1994, in Mt. Morris. He worked for General Motors Truck and Bus as a lineman for many years before his retirement. Thomas worked part-time with the Auto City Speedway. He was a member of the Otisville Lions Club. In his free time, he enjoyed watching NASCAR, cooking, watching old westerns, sudoku puzzles, and hunting.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife: Ann Davis; three step-sons: Shane Little and girlfriend, Courtney Wall, Jason Stack and girlfriend, Crystal Flint, and Donald and wife, Amy Stack; two grandsons: Max Little and Logan Flint; two brothers: James Davis and Emerson and wife, Phyllis Davis; two brother-in-law’s: Tim and wife, Carol Little and Tony and wife, Dawn Little; four sister-in-law’s: Holly Luebke and boyfriend, John Faust, Marlene Davis, Nancy Comer, and Judy Davis; special niece: Haylee Luebke; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, and friends.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, James and Martha Davis, and three brothers, Leroy, Howard, and Harvey Davis.
