Dear Sweet Beth and my Darling Brother, Frank,\
\
My heart goes out to you over the passing of your father, Beth. I know this is a sad time for you and that he will be missed; but, he'll always be in your heart. I still have fond memories, coming out to your farm and playing volleyball and spending the day chillaxing. I know my "brothers" in Bay City thought you were a sweet girl and very hard-working... like your parents! (I sent an email to Rob Schwartz who will pass the news around to all of them.) I'm living in Dallas at present, with my son, Jeff; otherwise, I would have attended the funeral. Just know that you're in my thoughts and prayers.\
\
All our love to you and your family,\

Alan and family. So sorry to hear of your loss. I have very fond memories of visiting the farm to see your work horses and picking veggies when I was younger. Mom and Dad thought a lot of your family.\
I hope Jesus is comforting you at this time. \
Remember: Those who live in the Lord never see each other for a last time. \

My Dear Cousins ~ I wish I could be with you. I am working in Arizona for the winter. I could not find an affordable flight. I have wonderful memories of Earl(Jr) ..remember when we used to call him Dudley! He always made me smile and feel special. What a great childhood growing up with the cousins, getting together on Sunday evenings at the farm. Love and miss you all and especially at times like these.

My heart and prayers go out to the Johnson family. I always looked up to Earl and the guys in the farming business. Being raised out on Frances Road all my life - my mother always stopped by the Upton Cemetery and said, "Smell that fresh country air" - Earl always said that smelled like $$ to him. Our community has lost too many good men, and not too many stepping up to fill their shoes .. I will miss Earl very much and pray for comfort and peace to his family. Vern Lawrence

Tom and I had a lot of respect for Earl and Tom thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to serve the MLE Board while Earl was a board member as he was not only a true leader but a close friend.
