Obituary of Therese Marlene Murphy
Therese Marlene Murphy, 69, of Mt. Morris passed away Friday, January 4, 2019, at home with her family by her side. In accordance with Therese’s wishes cremation has taken place.
She was born in Flint, Michigan on March 15, 1949, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Arthur and Dora (Luther) Cook. She graduated from Northwestern High School. Therese worked as a butcher and manager for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed reading and tending to her house plants. She was a strong woman and loved all animals big or small. She will be greatly missed.
Therese is survived by her daughter: Terri-Anne Murphy and husband Joseph Pringle; two grandchildren: Morgan Pringle and Devin Pringle; three great-grandchildren: Jessie, Aurrellia and Ezekiel; four sisters and one brother: Patricia Payne, Debbie Wittbrodt, Michele Miller, Marguerite Mellow, Randolph Cook; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers: George and Arthur Cook.
