Obituary of Anne Elizabeth Long
Anne Elizabeth (Miles) Long, age 67, of Davison, Michigan, passed away, Thursday, November 1, 2018, at Genesys Regional Medical Center. In accordance with Anne’s wishes cremation has taken place. No services have been scheduled at this time.
Anne was born May 19, 1951, in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, to the late Mr. & Mrs. Walter and Alma (Hincher) Miles. She graduated from Flint Central High School class of 1969. Anne and Russel Long were united in marriage on July 20, 1974, in Flint. They then moved to Davison where she had worked as a parapro for the Davison Community Schools. She had battled many different illnesses later in her life which lead up to her heart failure. In her free time, she had enjoyed spending as much time with family as she could and especially her great-grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are loving husband: Russel Long; daughter: Jennifer and husband, Glenn Robertson; step-son: Michael and wife, Helen Long; four grandchildren: Joshua (Sarah) Long, Zachary (Brianna) Rensberry, Alysha (Eric) Robertson, and Brooke (Simon) Robertson; nine great-grandchildren: Brianna Bush, Christopher Bush, Aiden Long, Luciana Long, Jaxon Long, Kaylee Northey, Amelia Northey, Bowie Thornburg, and Roland Thornburg; sister Amy Henshaw, nephews Donald Miles, Sam Henshaw, Isaiah Henshaw and many cousins. The family would also like to give a special thanks to her friends Joanne Spears and Kaye Ledford along with family Barb Brown and Devona VonDaggenhausen for all their help her last few days.
Anne was preceded in death by her parents.
