Obituary of Kerry Ann DeMott
Kerry Ann DeMott, age 44, of Howell, passed away Monday, October 15, 2018, at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor. In accordance with Kerry’s wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at a later date. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to a charity of their choice.
Kerry was born February 13, 1974, to Mr. & Mrs. Merle and Paula (Card) DeMott. She graduated from Elizabeth Ann Johnston High School. Kerry worked as a stocker for Rite Aid, and in the past, she worked for Walmart in Howell in the women's apparel department. In her free time, she enjoyed listening to music and going to concerts, playing the guitar, gardening, and deer hunting. Kerry will be remembered for being inventive, her sweet tooth, her sense of humor and her caring spirit. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her son: Randy DeMott; mother: Paula DeMott and her close friend, Robert McDonald; brother: Douglas and his wife, Celena DeMott; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Kerry was preceded in death by her father, Merle DeMott and her golden retriever, Reese’s.
