Obituary of Robert Knoblauch
Of Flint, age 77, died Friday, January 15, 2010 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor David Burkett will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. BobAaas family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, from 2:00pm until 4:00pm then 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Genesee County Humane Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Robert "Bob" was born August 22, 1932 in Owosso, the son Laurene (Knoblauch) Weeden. Bob graduated from Owosso High School Class of 1951. He and Marcella "Marcy" R. Brown were united in marriage on November 28, 1958 in Flint. Bob served in the Unites States Air Force until he received an Honorable Discharge in 1955. He worked for A&P/Farmer Jack as a Meat Cutter/Manager for 42 years before retiring in 1993. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, loved animals dearly especially his cats they were treated like they were his children, watching and feeding birds, fishing, and bowling on the senior league Myrtle Hilden at Colonial Hills.
Bob leaves to cherish his memory wife Marcy; two sons, Victor Hale of Flint, and Brian (Debbie) Hale of Mishawaka, Indiana; two grandchildren, Brian AaA"BJAaA and Angel Hale also of Mishawaka Indiana. Robert was preceded in death by his mother Laurene Weeden. Bob's family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire staff in the intensive care unit at Genesys Regional Medical Center
