Obituary of Kimberly Radford
Kimberly “Kim” Radford, age 54, of Mt. Morris, died Monday, July 30, 2018, with her sister Rachelle by her side. The funeral service will take place at the First Baptist Church of Mt. Morris at 1:00 pm, Monday, August 6, 2018, Pastor Kevin Dixson to officiate with cremation to follow. Kimberly’s family will be present at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris, on Sunday, from 12:00 noon until 8:00 pm. On Monday morning, Kim will be taken to the church to lie in state from 10:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm. Those desiring may consider memorial contributions to the family’s wishes. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and church.
Kim was born on February 3, 1964, in Flint, the daughter of Mr. Daniel Wray and Mrs. Wahnetah Cox. Kim worked as a title clerk for Ace Titles in Clio, for two years. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching Good Morning America, and cooking shows, she was an avid gardener, who was known for her tomato plants, and flowers. She also enjoyed camping, bowling, cleaning and being a mom to the neighborhood children.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Sarah and husband, Doug Blasdell; her five grandchildren: Madison Vizcarra, Kenny Radford, IIII., Kaden Radford, Ethaniel Blasdell, and Kenleigh Radford; mother, Wahnetah; siblings: Kerrie and husband, Daniel Acevedo, Wahnetah Deloney, Terri and husband, Harry Brink, Ardele (Cox) and husband, Garrett Uplegger; and many other nieces, nephews, family members, friends, and her two kittens.
Kim was preceded in death by father Daniel Wray, and stepfather Burton Cox, son, Kennard Radford, III.
