Obituary of Lois Wenona Schermerhorn
Age 89 of Flint, died on Sunday, July 15, 2018, at her home. In accordance with her wishes, a private burial will take place at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery.
Lois was born on March 11, 1929, in Johnson City, Tennessee, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas and Stella (Gosnell) Light. After moving to the Mount Morris area, she would marry Lyle Schermerhorn, on June 1, 1985. Sadly Lyle preceded her in death on March 4, 2015. Lois was a jewelry clerk at K-Mart until her retirement. In her off time, Lois enjoyed cross-stitching.
Left to cherish her memory are her brothers: Ronald, wife Linda Light, Donald, wife Beverly Light, William, wife Irene Light.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lyle, and son Larry Gouge.
