Obituary of June Carmen Gossel

Ages 85 and 83 of Saginaw,  died nine days apart at home. Ernest passed on June 16, 2018, with June following him on June 25, 2018, In accordance with their wishes cremation has taken place.

Ernest was born on December 1, 1932, to the late Ernest and Ruth Gossel (Mathews), in Flint, MI. He worked as a crane operator for General Motors until his retirement on November 8, 1952. It was during this time that Ernest met June Palori.

June was born July 2, 1934, to the late Joseph and Verle Palori (Carpenter) in Caspian, Michigan. She resided up north, and in the Flint area. In 1952, June graduated from Northern Flint High School.  In her spare time, June loved to cook, crochet and work in her garden.

On November 8, 1952, Ernest and June married. Their union bore five children.  Ernest continued his work at GM, while June cared for the family. In their retirement, Ernest and June spent their time Up north and in Lakeland, Florida.

Ernest and June are survived by their children: Susan, husband Patrick Hebert, Daniel, wife Mona Gossel, Michele, husband Brian Hunt; grandchildren: Ryan Patrick Hebert, Erika Gossel, Sawyer Gossel, Dawn, husband, Waylon Earnesty, Jaymes Gossel, Joseph Gossel, Shawna Gill, Mike, wife Kelly Wilcox;  eleven great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Kathy Gossel; son in law, Randy Wilcox.

Ernest and June were preceded in death by their parents, and children; Pam Gossel Wilcox, and Jeff Gossel.
