Obituary of Loretta Ann Dickenson

Of Vassar, age 60, died Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at St. MaryAaas of Michigan in Saginaw. Loretta was born September 30, 1947 in Flint, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Buford AaA"BootsAaA and Wilma (Naugle) Ezell. She and Ronald Dickenson were united in marriage on October 26, 1969 in Flint. Loretta was a wonderful, kind woman who will be missed by all who were blessed to have known her. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of close to 40 years, Ron; sons, Todd W. Dickenson, Tony P. (Melissa) Dickenson, Steven P. Dickenson and twins, Matthew and Michael Dickenson. Loretta is also survived by her grandchildren, Nicole, Ronnie, Katie, Austin, Erin and Jenna; brother, Gene (Barb) Ezell; sister-in-law, Marie (Jim) Luna and her very special friend since high school, Patricia Roberts. Loretta was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Gary Ezell. The funeral service will take place 1:00pm, Friday, June 6, 2008 at the First Presbyterian Church in Vassar. Rev. John Becker will officiate with burial to follow in Tuscola Township Cemetery. LorettaAaas family will be present to receive friends at the Martin Funeral Home in Vassar on Wednesday from 6:00pm until 8:00pm and on Thursday from 10:00am until 2:00pm and 4:00pm until 8:00pm. On Friday morning, Loretta will be taken to church to lie in state from 11:00am until the time of service at 1:00pm.
