Obituary of Mabel Louise Cloutier

Of Clio, age 87, died Monday, October 14, 2013, at Hurley Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 1:00 pm, Friday, October 18, 2013, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday October 17, 2013, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Then on Friday, from 10:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm. Those desiring may consider memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Mabel was born October 7, 1926, in Mt. Morris, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace and Jessie (Freeman) Stadler. She and Raymond Cloutier were united in marriage August 21, 1948, at St. Agnes Church in Flint, Michigan. Mabel was known for her wonderful cooking and she loved to crochet doilies, baby clothes, and afghans. Left to cherish her memory are husband, Raymond; daughter, Donna Rae Mantei and husband, John; 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Kathleen Stadler, and husband, Gerald; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Stadler, Janeen Cloutier and Judy Larson; brother-in-law, Meredith Crame; very special friend, Margaret Balesky and many neices, nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Jesse, Wayne and Mildred.
