Obituary of Marie Sinn

Of Vassar, age 91, died Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at the Frankenmuth Lutheran Home. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11:00am, Saturday, June 7, 2008 at St. MaryAaas Catholic Church in Mt. Morris. Rev. Fr. Thomas Nenneau will officiate with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Marie's family will be present to receive friends at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris on Thursday from 6:00pm until 8:00pm and Friday from 3:00pm until 8:00pm. On Friday evening, family, friends and parish will gather at 7:00pm to pray a Scriptural Rosary. On Saturday morning, Marie will be taken to church to lie in state from 10:00am until the time of Mass at 11:00am. Those desiring, may direct memorial contributions to St. Mary's Church or St. Vincent de Paul. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and church. Marie was born April 29, 1917 in Blanchard, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph and Florence (Austin) Welhalf. She and William John Sinn were united in marriage April 3, 1942. Marie was a member of the St. Mary's Altar Society, the St. Mary's Senior's Citizens Group, the St. Vincent de Paul and the Krapohl Senior Citizens Center. Left to cherish her memory are her children; William J. Sinn, Jr., Letitia and husband Dennis Bolt, 6 grandchildren; Tammy and husband Greg Hallwood, Melissa and husband Cory Waites, Katie Sinn, Kimberly Sinn, Stacey Bolt, Michael and wife Jennifer Bolt, 6 great-grandchildren, Madison, Austin and Nicholas Waites, Cole Hallwood and Vaughn and Grayson Bolt Marie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bill, and 6 sisters.
