My Uncle Cy will always be remember with a smile. \
\
No one could tell a story better than him. I remember growing up and visiting him and listening to him tell us some of the most incredible stories. \
\
Cy used humor to connect himself to others. \
\
I was fortunate to have been able to spend three hours alone with him last year and I will never forget our conversation. I left that day with an overwhelming feeling of his protective nature towards my Mom, his sister. He loved her very much and spoke for hours of their relationship and childhood together. \
\
Cy will be missed by many people as he touched many lives.\
\
We already miss you Uncle Cy...\

I worked with Cy, Tim, and Chuck at one time. These guys were the best of friends, tough, strong, yet humble, caring, friends.\
\
Cy & Tim might remember those hot summer days when we worked our tails off slinging them hundred pound panels. We were'nt wimps back then, we worked hard for our boss, Chuck. But I could not have asked for a better working crew. The Taylor boys were the BEST. \
\
I will treasure those days till it's my turn at bat. Until then all I can say is that I hope my faith will be just a fraction as strong as some of Cy,s family members is, I believe that there faith is the strongest that I have ever seen, Cy was lucky to have a strong family with that kind of faith in God. You will always remain in my heart as a kind and giving man. When we were building the A frame you and your brothers helped us clear out the lodge pole pines. I could barely lift one end of a pole and you came over and picked it up by yourself. You weren't very big but you were really strong. I can remember coming into the Taylor Poured Wall lot and hear you say "Uncle Buck and I would answer "Big Ole Cy You were in your prime then and that is the way I will always remember you. You were a good worker and always kind and thoughtful. Thank you Cy.

I will always think of my Uncle Cy with a smile. When he was in the room there was always roaring laughter. He could tell a story like no one else! I have happy memories of him coming to visit us in West Palm Beach. I always thought he was very handsome and could double for Robert Mitchum or Clark Gable! :) My Mom loved her brother very much and cherished all the times they were able to spend together. Uncle Cy fought the good fight and was the epitome of strength with a warrior's heart.\
We will miss you Uncle Cy....\

Although my handsome brother Cy and I were not raised together, we would see each other from time to time. He always made me laugh with his witty remarks and jokes. He sure had a great sense of humor. I loved him so, and he will never be forgotten. He truely was a man among men! Sib Lucy (Sib Taylor)

Cy Taylor was my Brother-in-law and my closest Friend. Cy lived with Peg and I when he came home from the Army. We hunted and played together and it was some very good times. I will miss him and hearing him call me 'Willy Bar'. Cy was a good worker and he would stay until the job was finished. He fought a good fight for four years, and I miss him already. Bill Longstreth

My Brother Cy, was the most outstanding Person I have ever known. He would fight a Army to protect you, and was my strongest defender. He was the one who would run into a burning house and pull you to safety Cy was never defeated, always upbeat and positive Even throughout his illness. He had the strength of Sampson and would work harder then anyone to prove it. I was blessed to have grown up being able to be with him at times. We would go to the Matinee as Kids to see John Wayne as a Cowboy and later years as a Soldier. John Wayne was always his Hero. When Cy lived with Grandma Taylor in Midland and I lived on the Farm in Coleman, Cy had a Bicycle with a Motor on it, and he came all the way up to get me and we both rode that Bike back to Midland!!! Cy lived with me on the Farm for awhile, he was always doing things to make me laugh. Cy loved to see People laugh, and he had the amazing sense of Humor to make them laugh in return. Cy was such a loving Brother Even as a Child, for example, I had a brown fury coat and he would hug me and say 'My Little Bear'! I loved him with all my Heart and will miss him all my life and I will miss picking up the Telephone to hear him say "Hi Sis"! As our hope is in Christ I will see my Brother Cy again. Love, Sister Peg

To the whole Taylor Clan, From Jeannie Taylor Brown, middle daughter of Frank & Mary Taylor. When I think of uncle Cy, I see him standing in his cowboy outfit, with his guitar, handsome, fit, with his cocky smile, as we gathered for our family reunion at our home, The Double T Ranch on West Curtis Rd. Always handsome, always smiling! Sharing in your sorrow, but I'm taking comfort in John 11:25,26. This I truly believe. My love goes out to the families. Jeannie\

To Aunt Carol and Family: Our deepest sympathy to the family. I will always remember wearing Uncle Cy's dog tags as a little girl, I thought they were the neatest things. When he got out of the service grandpa (Frank) kept them for him and I would sneak them. I will miss him dearly but I realize that he is no longer suffering and someday he will awaken and be a healthy man again and I can't wait to see him and along with his brothers Uncle Tim and Grandpa Frank. Love to you all.\

I can remember my uncle Cy as a man that was as tough as they come. I can also remember a man that was a lot like his brothers,Tim,Frank, and Chuck, full of spirit, kindness, and very loving. The Bible tells us at 1Cor.15:26 that death is an enemy. That enemy has taken some very good men away from us,as it now has my uncle Cy. But the Bible also tells of a time when I will be able to see the ones that I loved and cared about again. And although my father Tim Taylor, and my very loving uncle Frank Taylor, and now my uncle Cy are no longer with us at present, I am comforted with the fact my loving heavenly father Jehovah will bring them back so I can be see them again. So rest uncle Cy,my uncle Frank, my POP, i will see you very soon. Jimbo

My prayers and deepest condolences go out to the Taylor family. Cy was my uncle and I loved him dearly. When I was a young girl he used to call me JoJo and tell me I was alot like him. He was a man who lived life his way--even if others didn't like it. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends. \
