Obituary of Donald G. Malosh

Of Mt. Morris, age 59, died Friday, December 27, 2013 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 6:00 pm, Friday, January 3, 2014, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris with cremation to follow. Burial of cremated remains will take place a later date in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Don's family will be present at the funeral home on Friday, to receive friends from 2:00 pm until time of service at 6:00 pm. Those desiring may consider memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Don was born December 3, 1954, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald and Leona (Buchner) Malosh. Don graduated from Bendle High School, Class of 1972. He and Wanda were united in marriage October 30, 1976, in Flint, Michigan. Sadly Wanda preceded him in death on February 20, 2003. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, hunting, watching Westerns huge fan of U of M football, Detroit Tigers and the Detroit Red Wings. Left to cherish his memory are, two sisters, Penny (Jerry) Owens and Robin (Mac) McCarthy; four step-sisters, Louise (Ron) Burwell, June (Wade) Sage, Mary Sullivan and Donna (Rob) Shannon; many nieces, nephews and friends. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, wife Wanda.
