Dear Ruth Anne & Family,\ I wanted to express my sadness at hearing of the loss of Curt. I have very fond memories of my childhood and my family's friendship with all of you. My parents were extremely saddened to hear of Curt's passing.\ My fondest memories are from Mt Morris church when it seemed my like \ whole family attended there. I remember vividly the vacation bible \ school weeks and what fun we had. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. It must be incredibly hard to lose such an amazing person as Curt. His love, kind heart and incredible example are in my earliest memories as a child. His example will live on, just as he does in Heaven.\ \ Jordan, Sarah, Faith, Erika and Abby

Dear Ruthanne & Family,\ \ So sorry to hear about Curt. We appreciated his friendliness and encouragement so much. Every time we saw him he gave us a smile and always acknowledged us. I sincerely appreciate the love and friendship you gave us when Don had surgery. Being at the hospital with me was such a blessing and the prayer before Don's surgery was so comforting. Bradley thought so much of him. I called him tonight to let him know and he choked up. I'm sure you will be hearing from him. Dear Jim, Tanya & Girls, \ Our hearts are saddened at the loss of Curt. He was a wonderful man and a great Christian. Many, many nights in Bible class the girls and I prayed for grand dad - that God would ease his pain and take care of him. God did take care of Curt and has kept His promise of a home with Him. We are never ready to let go, but the legacy that Curt has given his family will live on for many years to come. May God give you comfort and peace in knowing Curt has reached the destination he lived his life for-Heaven.\ \ All our deepest love and sympathy,\ Carla, Derek & Christopher Colbert
