Contributions to the tribute of Barbara L. Foor

Barb seemed so young and energetic, she rivaled the kids in her enjoyment of all the activities she helped to plan for Cook Elelmentary School. Both Chris and Kim participated fully in whatever she advised -- peer mentoring, tutoring, Fifth grade helper... and the many parent/student "fun" evenings. She was a hands-on, smiling example of a professional who worked hard and loved her job. All of the kids who knew her were touched by the kind, understanding adult who met them at their own level, and was a joy to be around. Flamingoes and Harry Potter forever! You will be sorely missed, Barb. Hugs from the Dietzels.

We were very sorry to hear about Ms. Barb. Haley really loved her. She helped out a lot in her 2nd grade class last year. She was a very nice lady who always had a treat for all the kids. She helped out in every party and even had a treat for Haley's younger brother who would come too. She will be missed by my family and I am sure yours too. God Bless, Tracy, Haley and Ryan Truchan \

I WORKED WITH BARB AT ADOPT-A-PET IN FENTON. SHE WAS SUCH A SWEET, COMPASSIONATE FRIEND. HER GREAT LOVE FOR THE ANIMALS, ESPECIALLY THE CATS, MADE HER SO EASY TO LOVE. SHE LOVED HER FAMILY AND OFTEN SPOKE OF HER NEPHEWS. I KNOW FROM OUR TALKS, THAT SHE HAD A RELATIONSHIP WITH OUR LORD, AND IS IN HEAVEN. I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING HER AGAIN SOMEDAY. I worked with Barb in Grand Blanc Schools. I know she provided much support for students and staff during her years there. She displayed much courage in her illness. My thoughts are with you.

I had the pleasure of working with Barb for many years. She handled ticket duties for both football and basketball at Central while I was Athletic Director. She was pleasant,competent and professional. She will be in our thoughts and prayers.

I was saddened to hear of the recent loss of Ms. Foor today at church. My condolences to her family, friends and coworkers. I worked with Mrs. Foor at Mason Elementary. She was a beautiful person and will be greatly missed.
