Obituary of Buzz Carl Figard

Figard, Buzz Carl of Mayville age 59 died Wednesday October 1, 2008 at his home. The funeral service will take place at 2:30 pm Saturday October 4 at the Juniata Baptist Church in Vassar Pastor Lyle Ohman will officiate with burial to follow in Northgrove Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the Martin Funeral Home in Vassar on Friday, from 2:00 Aa" 8:00 pm. On Saturday he will be taken to church where he will lie in state from 1:00pm until time of service at 2:30. Contributions may be made to the Family Fund envelopes available at the funeral home and at church. Buzz was born May 12, 1949 in Seanor, Pennsylvania, the son of Frank and Betty (Johnson) Figard. He and Lois McDougall were united in marriage July 13, 1974 in Saginaw. He liked spending time outdoors, golfing, fishing, listening to the rain, decorating for Christmas, working in the yard, and his 1978 Monte Carlo. Buzz leaves to cherish his memory his wife Lois, 5 children Matthew and wife Crystal, Stacey and Paul, Priscilla and Kelly, Joe, and John Daenzer; 6 grandchildren, Robert Abbott, Jacob Figard, Klayton Clish, Gage Jacobs, Kassandra Clish, Olivia Clish, and another baby expected in May; 2 brothers, Frank and Linda, Dewayne and Bonnie, Janie and Walt Jastrzemski and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Gregory Wright.
