Obituary of Anita Anna Barriger

Passed away Sunday, October 12th, 2008 after a short illness. She was born in Krefeld, Germany on December 5, 1939. She and Bob Barriger were united in marriage December 16th 1960. He has preceded her in death. She enjoyed the outdoors, she was known as the (Oma) by family and friends. Anita was known for her kindness and quick since of humor, she was always ready with a smile. She enjoyed the company of her loved ones, and was talented at crafts such as knitting, and crocheting. Anita leaves to cherish her memory two daughters; Raffaela and husband Bob Gibbard of Boone, North Carolina, Tracy and husband Kevin Coleman of Akron, son Manny and wife Christy Barriger of Delafield Wisconsin, grandchildren; Gabe and Dusty Coleman, Morgan and Shannon Gibbard and Madi Barriger. Funeral service will be Thursday October 16th 2008 at 2:00 pm at the Martin Funeral Home in Fairgrove. Reverend Richard Miller will officiate with burial to follow at Brookside Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the Martin Funeral Home in Fairgrove to celebrate AnitaAaas life on Wednesday from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., on Thursday from 1:00 till time of service at 2:00. Memorial donations may be considered to a family wishes fund, envelopes are available at the funeral home.
