Obituary of Hallie Maye Simon

Age 85, of Clio, died Friday, January 4, 2014 at Maplewoods Manor in Clio. Mrs. Simon has been cremated. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Mrs. Simon was predeceased by her husband, George, of 45 years, on July 12, 1983. She was a resident of Montrose, Michigan for 55 years. She married George C. Simon on January 14, 1938 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. She was a former member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and St. Ann Altar Society of Maple Grove. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Brian and daughter-in-law, Patricia, both of whom she dearly loved. She wishes to thank them for all their unselfishness, love, devotion, help and happiness they have given her through her years. She also leaves two loving granddaughters, Amanda and Kasey, with whom we shared much love, and special friend, Gayle Matthews and the central staff of Maplewoods Manor.
