Obituary of Joseph Raymond McKeever

MCKEEVER, Joseph Raymond Of Mt. Morris, age 54, died Thursday, October 16, 2008 at his home. The Life Celebration will take place 11:00am, Saturday, October 18, 2008 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Rev Kathy Pompa will officiate with cremation to follow. Family will receive friends at the Miles Martin Funeral Home on Friday, from 11:00am to 8:00pm, and on Saturday morning from 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am. Memorial contributions may be made to a Family Fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Joseph was born September 17, 1954 in Petoskey, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold and Hilda (Erdman) McKeever. He and Cindy Dunlap were united in marriage December 31, 2001 in Mt. Morris. Joe leaves to cherish his memory his wife Cindy, eight children: Joey McKeever, Tony Erity, Melissa McKeever, Malori McKeever, Melanie Martin, Dwayne Dunlap, Barbara and husband Donald Grant, Laura Burton and Robert Nowak, three grandchildren: Cory Dunlap, Kailey Perez, and Emma Nowak, brother: John and wife Sharon McKeever, and best friend and special dog Milo. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Harold. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Staff of Heartland Hospice, especially Edie and Joe, and family friend Tom Lester.
