Of Clio, age 60, died Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at her home. The funeral service will take place 3:00pm, Friday, October 31, 2008 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor Johnny Hoskins will officiate. Burial will take place at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00pm until time of service at 3:00pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Family Fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
Betty was born July 25, 1948 in Piggott, Arkansas the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie and Emma (Whitson) Taylor. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Robert Floate, children; Greg and Tami Cochran, Candy and Ernie Wilkerson and Bryan Cochran; step-children; Bob, Keith and Susan, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her twin brother, Johnnie Dale, parents, Leslie and Emma (Whitson) Taylor, sister, Sherley Deloris Ann Riddle, two brothers; J.L Taylor and James W. Taylor and a grandson, Timothy Wilkerson.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Betty, dear and close personal friends, especially Mona and Bonnie.
