Of Flint, age 57, died Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Crestmont Health Care Center. The funeral service will take place, Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris with cremation to follow. DaveAaas family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends on Monday, from 10:00am until 8:00pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the family fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. David "Dave" was born June 4, 1952 in Flint, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent and Mary (Sabo) Coenen. Dave was a graduate of St. Mary Catholic School.
David leaves to cherish his memory two children; Jill (David) Simpson, Jason (Jodi) Coenen, six grandchildren, Kristie, Kelly, Alyssa, Lindsey, Alec, Dawson; sister, Alice Weaver; brother, Fred (Leeann) Coenen; and cousin, Dr. Bill (Clara) Brooks; several nieces, nephews and friends. Dave was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Arthur, brother-in-law, Dick, cousin, Clifford.
