Of Thetford Township, age 85, died Saturday, January 10, 2009 at his Residence. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris, which will honor the life of Bill, as well as his brother Charlie. Their burial will follow in Thetford Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, January 19, 2009 from 2:00pm until 8:00pm and again on Tuesday from 9:00am until time of service. Memorial contributions may be directed to The Big Brothers Foundation. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Bill was born May 30, 1923 in Flint, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank and Louise (Rouse) Mott. He and brother Charlie opened Mott BrotherAaas Hardware here in Mt. Morris in 1947.
he leaves to cherish his memory sister Bernice and husband Max, nephew Mark V. Erickson, close friends Ray Short, Ed Reid and Ryan Lehr. And many other friends. He was preceded in death by parents, brother Charlie, nephew Bruce, niece Judy.
