Of Fairgrove Township, age 66, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, January 25, 2009 at Covenant Medical Center - Harrison. The funeral service will take place 10:00am, Thursday, January 29, 2009 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caro. Father Dennis Kucharczyk will officiate with cremation to follow. The family will receive friends at Martin Funeral Home-Fairgrove from 2:00pm until 8:00pm on Wednesday, with a memorial service at 7:00pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caro. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and church.
James was born February 9, 1942 in Saginaw, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. John and Jennie (Barsczewski) Ezop. He and Carol were united in marriage November 25, 1961.
James leaves to cherish his memory wife Carol, three children: Christine and husband Fred Bergman, James M. and wife Heidi Ezop, Linda and husband Rob Pike, six grandchildren: Bradley and Jenna Bergman, Nickolas Ezop, Warren, Keven, and Jillian Pike, two sisters Carol Kuch and Barbara Hickey, many nieces, nephews and friends.
James was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Robert (Bob) Ezop.
