Obituary of Mary Louise DeNicolo
Mary Louise (Boucher) DeNicolo, of Flint, age 86, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018, at McLaren Regional Medical Center in Flint. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11:00 am, Saturday, May 26, 2018, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Morris. Rev. Fr. Bill Wegher will officiate with burial to follow at New Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive friends at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris on Friday, from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm; On Friday evening, family, friends, and parish will gather to pray the Rosary at 7:00 pm. On Saturday morning, Mary will be taken to the church to lie in state from 10:00 am until the time of mass at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may consider memorial donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Genesee County Humane Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
Mary was born on September 25, 1931, the daughter of Mary Margarite (Heenan) Boucher and Philip Boucher. She married Frank A. DeNicolo on August 30, 1952. He survives. They attended St. Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Morris. Mary was a homemaker, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She loved her family, eating out at Zehnder’s in Frankenmuth, cruises with her sister, and all animals; especially her cats. She made sure they were fed and taken care of.
Surviving are her loving husband of 65 years, Frank; her sister in California, Jean Fernandez; her brothers: Phil and Hal; her children: Jean Marie (DeNicolo) Cole and husband Rob; Thomas DeNicolo, Janet DeNicolo, Michael DeNicolo, Mary Margaret (DeNicolo) Laubach and husband Les, and Robert DeNicolo and wife Tracee; her twelve grandchildren: Hunter, Rylee, Tanner, Alex, Austin, Dylan, Carli, Hayley, and Lauryn DeNicolo, Lisa Loza, Theresa Hack, and Angela Pavelchak; her ten great-grandchildren: Hadlee and Haverlee Mertz, Trey and Aryana Hack, Kaiden, Alessandra, and Matteo Loza, Ian, Isaac, and Violet Pavelchak; several nieces and nephews; and all the children she was a second mother to, she loved them as her own.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter-in-law Michelle, and granddaughter Jessica.
