Elaine was born November 25, 1928, in Jackson. She is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward and Anna Mabel (Adamson) Werner. She graduated from Jackson High School, with the class of 1947. She married T. Virgil Van Camp on August 10, 1962. Sadly, he preceded her in death on July 31, 2008.
