Obituary of Liz (Horton) Centilli
Age 78, of Burton, passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at McLaren-Flint. In accordance with Liz’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating Liz’s life will take place at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services – Mt. Morris on Saturday, February 24, 2018, at 3:00 pm. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:30 until 3:00 pm.
Liz was born April 27, 1939, in Arlington, Kentucky, to the late Athern and Margaret (Hollingsworth) Martin. She graduated from Beecher High School in 1957. She worked for General Motors Ternstedt, as a Computer Analyst for 20 years retiring in 1997. In her younger years, she enjoyed golfing, bowling and spending time with her family and fishing on Lobdell Lake in Linden. She enjoyed studying her family’s genealogy, gardening, going to the casino and was an amazing artist. Liz was a woman of faith and was loved by all. She was the family IT Tech Specialist and kept everyone’s computers up and running. Liz will be greatly missed and will always be known for her sweet, kind-hearted personality and beautiful smile.
Left to cherish her memory are children: Pamela and husband, Jeff Threet and Cynthia Horton and fiancé, Darren Mitchell; sisters: Shirley and husband, Fred Carter, Dorothy Jean Bryl and Terri and husband, Steve Johnson; grandchildren: Christopher Threet, Jennifer Stevenson, Steven and wife, Erica Threet, Stephanie and husband, Fredrick Storey and Keith Hilgendorf and significant other, Amber Tandeski; 13 great-grandchildren; nephews and niece: Bradley and wife, Buffy Johnson, Bryan and wife, Sharlet Johnson, Tina and husband, Dave McKenzie, Kevin Bryl, Joseph and wife, Annette Bryl, Martin and wife, Janis Carter, Gary Carter, and Jeffery and wife, Barb Carter; many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law, Thomas Bryl, Gerald Horton and nephew, Timothy Carter.
